Many different factors can be said to have driven the development of self-government in the American colonies. The first is their relative isolation from England. News, instructions for royal governors, and other information crucial to the exercise of state power took months to reach the colonies from Britain, and this made it difficult for England to enforce its own policies. In the absence of these policies, governors and colonial assemblies exercised considerable autonomy in making decisions. Another reason that the colonies developed a tradition of self-government was the that the British saw it as inefficient and costly to enforce laws, especially the Navigation Acts, which were intended to regulate trade. Smuggling, the printing of paper money, and other practices ostensibly banned, or at least frowned upon, by England were routinely practiced. In an inertial frame of reference, it doesn't. If it's an ideal pendulum, the pendulum goes on swinging exactly as it did before. Even realistic pendulums are only slightly distorted by the effect of friction and air resistance. But we are standing on the Earth, which is not an inertial frame of reference. The rotation of the Earth under the pendulum makes the pendulum appear to change direction from our frame of reference. An apparent force (or "fictitious force") emerges, the Coriolis force, which is not a fundamental force like gravity, but a result of using a rotating frame of reference. While a traditional view of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet may be that Romeo is a tragic hero, the 1996 film adaptation directed by Baz Luhrmann seems to portray him as the victim of his circumstances. This may be due to several of the key acts of artistic license taken by Luhrmann; his interpretation includes shifting the setting to 1990s Verona Beach, dramatizing the role of Tybalt, and heightening key moments in the text. Moving the setting from Verona to "Verona Beach"--a gritty coastal city that looks like a cross between Rio and Venice Beach and which is overrun with gangsters--seems to up the stakes for the plot. The men here are armed not with swords but guns. Mercutio's Queen Mab speech shifts from a commentary on our dreaming and waking lives to a celebration of party culture and drugs. Your first step in approaching this assignment should be to think about a particular stance and theoretical approach.  Your introductory section should set out how you will approach the work. You could focus on a feminist reading in which you looked at the role of Wendy, especially how she seems a figure who almost exists to react to the dynamic between Jack and Danny rather than a strong figure in her own right. A second possibility would be to focus on issues of patriarchy, and specifically how Jack is affected and harmed by his own ideals of masculinity. A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows several threads which sometimes intertwine. The four lovers, the fairies, and the rude mechanicals are the three main storylines. The rude mechanicals are less essential to the plot than the other two. Without them, only a few adjustments would have to be made to keep the story together. The play would also be darker and more serious. However, the players add a delightful levity to the comedy and provide the other characters with much entertainment. The commoners counterbalance the story’s noble fairies, lovers, and leaders. These men are actors by night and tradesmen by day. They speak in prose rather than verse, except when they recite lines from their terrible play Pyramus and Thisby. The difficult fact is that those who are in love are typically likely to choose marriage without considering the odds of success and it is challenging to talk reality with people who have stars in their eyes. That said, it would be important for each person to consider what is known about the other person. What does the person say? How does the person act? Are the two reasonably congruent? If not, what is going on? How does this person show love? How selfish is this person? Are there financial issues going into the marriage because one person has not managed money well? Foods must be hydrolyzed (broken down) into simpler molecules in order for the body to be able to use them for energy and synthesis. Enzymes are proteins which are organic catalysts. They speed up chemical reactions like hydrolysis which occurs when food is digested. One of the food groups consumed for energy is carbohydrates. These include sugar and starch. The body can break down these polymers into simple sugars called monosaccharides. Cellulose, is also a polysaccharide and is the component of cell wall materials. Thus, when any plant based food is consumed, cellulose will be present.  It is a polymer of glucose molecules however, the glycosidic linkages (bonds) between glucose monomers consist of 1-4 linkages of beta glucose monomers.
